Rubenesque Latex!

Still plugging away at the latex, its in my dreams at night now 0.o
Got a huge order in for the show in Febuary, and have a pre-shoot set up before hand. If anyone cares, here's a small smatter from my first shoot

OMG!!! my first fashion show will be mid February!!

Just today ordered the crazy amount of latex I will need for my 10 planned looks, Went with a cool winter palette, tying each look together with Metallic Platinum.

Things I need to do for the show;
-10min worth of music
-outfit creation
-accessories
-normal clothes for mixed looks
-make-up
-decide on hair styles so hair guy can practice


Fun, fun! so glad I have 3ish months to prepare for this!

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

Which really is getting set up just in time, I'm working on 5 different pieces for the Kink Academy Ladies as they get all kinky educationed on the folks at Kink in the Caribbean. Specifically I am doing things for Princess Kali and Savannah Sly. Kali has a pair of my Comfy Pants, and Savannah tried on a pair of my Zippered Bell Bottoms and Summer Camp.

I'm also going to be in Boston next weekend for the KA open house! I'll be doing a DIY class with Latex.

anyways I have a tube top, bikini top and pencil skirt that that I can show off tomorrow-ish, BUT heres what I gots right this minute.




Not too shabby, It'll have a black waist band tomorrow.

I've been half halfheartedly trying to reshell some m of my SD's, its not going all that well but I'm not exactly bumping them everyday or listing them in every community so its mostly on me( and how poor teh marketplace is in general)

But since I have SD sized bodies now my Gf's are encouraging me to mix them and my new love of latex crafting into one. I did already test to see if latex would stain resin(no it does not, not even with shiner on it) So I guess some Latex dollie items are on my future. Who knows it might sell well and I'd have a viable use of all the scraps I've saved the last year or so.

On a whim, and due to UML traffic being teh suck, Me and Day decided to visit the pet shelter that's almost right on campus. Animals calm her down and life has been kinda... off as of late.

and it was love, this cute little guy was just too cute. I think I see a bit of Maine Coon in him. In a flurry of texts and phone calls(mostly to convince Brynn, and to double check with the landlord)we decided that a kitty would be good for us all.

So Bowser(yes for real, and we didn't name him that lol) will be coming home to us Thursday, he needs to be deballed first and chipped.

He's really friendly, but he is gonna be a big boy. Which is good as he'll be the Man of the House.

SO since moving to boston my dolls have kinda slid off my radar, my bad I just really wasn't in the best head space so I turned to other things that I have found to love just as much and are shiny!

This past weekend I finished 2 pieces and was able to show case them at the year Providence Fetish Flea.

I think I am going to spend a good chunk of time(and money :/ ) this summer building up a portfolio of designs and patterns. Nyxx as offered to make me a web page and open to sell things come fall. Once I have a bunch of outfits I will hire RubiCat and do a photoshoot.

Going to focus on 'real girls', ie people that have curves and are stick thin. there are too many sites that focus on HIgh Fashion latex leaving the people with a healthy weight feeling obese and that they can never look good in latex.

whelp thats my plan, cross fingers for me ^.^

I mean seriously!

things start going great and then you just breeze in and go "whelp, time for some crap!" and then proceed to do some :( not amused

SO I quit the bakery Last Tuesday, and manged to get myself hired the next day! Thank gods!

New GF is working out great, play time has been awesome and we all get along great

....

Poor Brynn has been working 12hr days at her job while the breeders waltz out before 5pm, trying to so KA and Sin-o-Matic flyers

And Day(new GF) was accidentally outed to her super religious parents and is staying with us, till college starts.

RIght so I went to London for a week.

I took lot's of pics cause I'd never been on a plane before or gone off the continent

Turtles that is.

I have no urge to procreate myself but quite like others spawn, in this case a pair of baby Painted Turtles I rescued from the forest path in the park by my house.

There must have been a clutch that hatched in a particular area because I've found 4 so far (one I release near the water, 2 that are living with me now, and one that didn't make it that's dead off the side of the path) The newest little one still has it's egg tooth! so cute!!

But now I find myself faced with the task of try to keep them alive. with about an 80% mortality rate my hopes aren't too high but I'm going to try my best. whether they are going to be released back to the wild or the houses newest residents is still up in the air.

Things I need for them;
Larger tank- the recommended size for 1 hatching is 15-20gal tank and I've two.
Rocks- some for dry land, others for in water basking
Water filter- Duetto 100 filter, small enough for low water levels, gives the turtles some current to swim against
Lighting currently not an issue as i've got them in a sunny spot, but will need later as sun helps kill bacteria, produces vitA&D
FOOD turns out Iceburg lettuce is ADDICTIVE for turtles so a huge N.O.
Also they can live off their yolk for about 3 weeks and be slow and inactive
acceptable foods
-meal worms(as they are older, hard for babies to eat)
-Tiny crickets
-canned pink salmon to tempt reluctant turtles to eat, and this should be kept in mind. I have found the white meat squeezed from the tails of crayfish to have similar power.
-Black worms
-tiny live shrimp
-guppies/minnows
-Fruits(halved grapes, apple, melon, strawberry)
-Veggies(kale, spinach, romaine, dandilions)
-Dried commercial foods(Hikari Turtle Sticks, NutraFin Max Turtle Gammarus Pellets, Tetra ReptoMin Floating Food Sticks)
-Water plants(Duck weed, water Lillys, pond weed, water hyacinth, ect)
-Chicken or Turkey Meat.
Calcium to sprinkle on food, calcium supplemented with vitamin D3(indoor housed), or cuttle fish bone to gnaw on
Supplements helps cover all things. cause you can't exactly reproduce its wild diet



So yeah, wish me luck!

I like taking pics, tho I don't think I'm really all that gifted at it. But it gives me something to do, on today's walk I tried to focus on 2 things; Nature over man, and Tiny armies of corrosion.

I realize I haven't posted in here in like...forever. opps...my bad folks, the Twitter demon got me and its just quicker and on the fly to do then boot up the laptop, wait for updates to finish and then actually post something that sounds decent .

January
half way thru the month making crap for money at the club, stressed from my boss threatening to replace me, and just generally fed up with the drugs, prostitution, and horn-ball men. I Quit.
Just packed up my stuff one thursday night and didn't go back. Had a nice weekend Con at Arisa and pretty much just stayed in Boston.
Living with 3 people(gf, and her wife) has been an adjustment for me and all of us I'm sure but love conquers all yes?
btw not one boss from work has bothered to call me -.-

Febuary
Put in prolly over 30 applications at various jobs; starbucks, trader joes, whole foods ect. Got 1 call back and didn't get the job after 2 interviews anyways. decided to focus on getting my Massage stuff back in order.
Went to the Fetish Flea in RI, strangely enough saw SolarCat...awkward...
Had a 9hr class a week later in RI for Scar tissue release which was really very cool and had a pre-birthday meal after with my Sis, Bobbi

March
Started off the month with a weekend long Massage conference where I got to sample such modalities and Bamboo massage, Jin shin Jitsu, Pillowsage, ectect really liked Bamboo and Jin Shin will prolly take the full courses eventually.
Was a jeans model for some designer jeans, my ass is just that awesome lol
Ma'am's pet came back to visit from Iowa, this time was much better and I think we made some progress.
Got a red Latex cat suit and now have a pretty awesome black and red outfit
Started playing Wow(sorta) think I still prefer Guildwars tho...



SO that was my super fast recap. Am hoping to do a late B-day/Move in party later this month
